Tara students learn the full complement of academics first-hand:
 
SCIENCE by dissecting specimens and gathering data in the outdoors;
 
WRITING by working on pieces for publication;
 
HISTORY by interviewing elders and doing original research;
 
LIBERAL ARTS, not through static textbooks, but brought to life through imagination, participation and critical thinking.
